Job Description

As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on projects in accordance with agreed customer requirements and internal project management procedures. You will provide operational leadership to project team members to ensure work is carried out efficiently and within established objectives. You will also be responsible for achieving successful customer approval, approved feasibility, and internal release according to defined criteria. In addition, you will manage project risks and provide technical support to the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and report on projects according to agreed criteria.
  • Provide operational leadership to project team members.
  • Achieve customer approval, approved feasibility and internal release milestones.
  • Perform project risk management and risk analysis.
  • Provide technical support to the sales team.

Profile

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent through experience.
  • Knowledge of plastic product manufacturing and/or related processes is an advantage.
  • Experience with modern process control techniques.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to make decisions despite incomplete information.
  • Team player with the ability to communicate effectively across different disciplines and cultures.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Capable of independently planning, organizing, motivating, and evaluating work.
  • Flexible regarding tasks and working conditions.
  • Excellent command of English; Dutch and German are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe several times per year for short periods.
